Everyone deserves a smile they are happy with. The Bank House Dental Centre has spent over 60 years helping our patients improve their dental health, their appearance and their confidence, in a calm and friendly setting on the High Street in Princes Risborough.

We are a fully private practice led by Dr Sanjay Narda, an implant dentist with nearly 30 years’ experience and post-graduate training from Oxford and the Eastman Dental Institute.

Whether you want a straightforward check-up, a missing tooth replaced, or a complete smile makeover, you will find the same careful, unhurried approach. We take the time to listen, we explain your options clearly, and we never start treatment until you are happy with the plan and the cost.

Meet Dr Sanjay Narda

Dr Sanjay Narda, implant dentist at Bank House Dental Centre

Sanjay has been the clinical director of the Bank House since 2005. He qualified with honours from the University of Leeds, gaining a distinction in Dental Public Health, and went on to a further year of post-graduate training at the University of Oxford. He was awarded a Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2002 and a Diploma in Restorative Dental Practice from the Eastman Dental Institute in 2007.

He continues to attend courses and conferences in implant and cosmetic dentistry, and has a particular interest in the technology that makes modern dentistry more precise and more comfortable.

Sanjay is supported by a long-standing team: our dental therapist Fiona, who has been with the practice since 2010 and has almost fifty years’ experience; our hygienist Anu, who has a special interest in gum health; our practice manager Riya; and our nurses Maria and Sonia.

Modern technology, gentle dentistry

We invest in equipment because it makes treatment safer, quicker and more comfortable — not for its own sake.

  • Intra-oral scanner. A small wand takes a precise 3D digital model of your teeth in a few minutes — no impression trays, no gagging, no waiting for models to set. We use the scan to plan and make aligners, crowns, bridges and dentures, and by comparing scans over time we can pick up gum recession and tooth wear early, before they become a problem.
  • Digital X-rays. Instant, sharper images with around 90% less radiation than old-style film.
  • Intra-oral camera. We show you what we can see, so you understand why any treatment is needed — and you can see the result afterwards.
  • A dedicated sterilisation room. Cross-infection control is not something we compromise on. Instruments are cleaned and sterilised in a purpose-built room, separate from the surgeries.

Fees and payment plans

We believe in being open about money. Our full price list is published on this website, every patient gets a written estimate before treatment, and there are no hidden extras.

To spread the cost of routine care we offer two monthly payment plans: Denplan, of which we are a fully accredited practice, and our own in-house Smilecare plan.

  2. A relaxed first appointment. We listen to what you want, examine your teeth and gums, and take a digital scan or X-rays where needed. For implant, cosmetic and orthodontic enquiries this first discussion is free.
  3. A clear plan and a written price. You leave knowing what we recommend, what the alternatives are, how long it will take and exactly what it will cost. No pressure — take it away and think about it.
  4. Treatment, and aftercare. Carried out here at the practice, at your pace, with follow-up included.
